ARMORIN
, Zagreb

Women's klapa Armorin was founded in 1999 as an a cappella singing workshop that took place at the Student Center in Zagreb. Over fifteen years of work, the Armorin vocal group has attracted female a cappella singers from all over Croatia, from Vinkovci up north to Dubrovnik on the south. In 2006, Armorin held their debut concert at the most prestigious a cappella singing competition, the Festival of Dalmatian Klapas in Omiš, where it won the first award by the jury and the first awards by the audience in the debut performers' category. In the final Festival's evening, the ladies won the third award by the audience, which was a fantastic result. Ever since, Armorin has been a part of the Omiš Festival, where they have regularly performed at the Festival's closing evening.
From 2006, this vocal group has had several individual and joint performances both in Croatia and abroad. In addition, they have taken part in several a cappella gatherings and manifestations. In the period from 2006 to 2008, the group organized an a cappella gathering "More, ti si čežnja” (“Oh, sea, what a yearning you are!”). Also, the group performs at the Dalmatian klapas concerts held annually in Zagreb, including themed concerts such as Christmas concerts or concerts dedicated to the works of the influencing a cappella composers and producers, such as Ljubo Stipišić Delmata, Dinko Fio, Joško Ćaleta, Krešimir Magdić and Živko Ključe.
As part of the above mentioned concerts, Armorin group's performances are featured on the CDs "Došli smo van kolendati 2” (2007.) and "Pisme o' vrimena”(2008.) In 2014, the group held their gala concert at the Mimara Museum in Zagreb, marking the group's fifteenth anniversary. The group was also recognized by the UNESCO, which, together with Panasonic company, signed an agreement with Armorin to feature it in the promotional video made in August 2015 at the Plitvice National Park. In 2016, Armorin re-introduced its project “More, ti si čežnja”, which hosted some of the best Croatian klapas.
